Transformers 7: Rise of the Beasts plot
During a virtual presentation for Paramount, Rise of the Beasts director Tim Caple disclosed some plot points. The new film will take place in both New York and Machu Picchu and introduce new Transformers characters like the Predacons, Maximals, and Terrorcons to the already established Autobots and Decepticons. Both the Maximals and the Predcaons are robotic dinosaurs from the distant past.
“In their disguise, they take on animal form,” Caple stated during the presentation. According to the plot of our movie, these dinosaurs have come to Earth from the future.
Lorenzo di Bonaventura, the film’s producer, chimed in. “One of the most important things we were trying to do with this movie was give the audience a lot of ‘new,”” he said. “Our expectation was, ‘How do we find a new set of villains?’ and ‘How do we find a new set of priorities for these villains?'” Fans of the previous films will recognize some familiar faces among the new cast members, but they will also be introduced to characters they haven’t seen before, and vice versa for the baddies. It’s a major factor in our deliberations. Thankfully, Transformers features a wide number of different factions, giving us access to a diverse cast. The film is uniting many previously divided communities.
